werde in meiner Performance im Landwehrkanal eine Fackel tragen.
Ich werde im Becken am Hallesches Tor starten und mich auf dem Landwehrkanal
bis zum Lützowufer bewegen und meine Aktion dort beenden.

Der Anblick lässt die Gedanken unsicher springen von der Olympiade 1936 zur WM heute - Rosa Luxemburg und Karl Liebknecht - vom archaischen Symbol zum sich einsam mühenden Menschen. Alles umher scheint passend und unpassend, einfach und klar zugleich, aber verstrickt und schwer zu interpretieren. Es scheint unmöglich, eine Botschaft abzulesen und zurück bleibt der unzufriedene, zu Gedanken provozierte und dabei auf sich selbst verwiesene Betrachter. Es bleibt verborgen, wo die Subversion ist, darf man der Schönheit trauen? Hier scheitert der Versuch, Heil zu bringen auf allen Ebenen und in alle Richtungen. Enttäuschung für den Heil Suchenden - Spiegel für den Heil Versprechenden.
To transport light - a man endeavors to bring light - his means of transport is modern and on the same time archaique. The aspect makes the thoughts jumping insecurely from Olympia 1936, to soccerChampionship 2006 and Berlin Marathon the day after sep. 23rd, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, from the archaic symbol to the lonely labouring man. Everything around seems to be suitable and unsuitable, simple and clear, but on the same time enlaced and hard to interprete. It seems impossible to read the message. The spectator stays the unsatisfied, provoqued by models of thoughts and referred to himself. Subversion stays hidden. Can one trust the beauty? The effort to bring salvation fails on all levels.
Bellyboat: Ein Angler will auf der Mitte eines Sees angeln. Er möchte aber kein Boot irgendwohin transportieren müssen. Also setzt er sich mit seiner Wathose in die luftgefüllte Schlauch und Riemenkonstruktion. An den Stiefeln der Wathose sind Schwimmflossen befestigt. Mit denen bewegt er sich auf den See. Mit dem Hinterkopf zuerst.
Bellyboat: A fisher likes to fish in the middle of a lake. But he doesn´t want to use a boat transport from A to B. Therefore he sits with his wade trousers and flippers in an inflated tube with a holding construction inside and moves on his back forward onto the middle of the lake.
